Book 1 - Sweet Short story about Jason (EMT) and David (Doctor) going on a trip to South America to help out those in need and falling in love with each other while they are there.
Book 2 - OMG It is sooo sad. *wipes tears* But still a great ending to Jason & Davids story. I think them making it through such tragedy is amazing and shows how much love they do have for each other.

Sara York lives in the southern United States and is a highly respected creative writer – one who can ‘shift’ from her popular paranormal romances of shifters as well as gay cowboy romances and who knows where else. She penned a very popular series – the Colorado Heart Series – that totaled seven books, each book is stand alone, but the characters migrate through the series so that reading the entire group is the way to go. She has shared Texas romances lately and now she re-visits earlier novels of four years ago that she now combines into one. The initial stories were LOVE WTHOUT BORDERS and LOVE WITHOUT RESTRAINT. Now she presents the full set and we are the better for it.
In keeping with the public fascination with firemen and medics, Sara places her story in a setting not unlike the television series CHICAGO FIRE – with a twist of course. The two books are combined in a smooth fashion. Fine story, credible, with enough erotica to satisfy Sara York followers, this reunion of two earlier stories is a fine payoff. But then this is Sara York who never disappoints. Grady Harp, March 17

As a nurse, if a doctor asked me how come I didn't go to med school (implying I'm "too good to do [whatever other position it is]"), not only would he not get laid, he would get punched in the nuts.
Unfortunately, as much as I wanted to like this book based on the subject matter, the writing just didn't do it for me.
First, some reviewers have said this is a plagiarized story. IT IS NOT. The author first wrote these as short stories. They are her stories redone a bit. The love shared by these two men was beautiful. Since it is a novella, the story is only on the two of them. That is not a criticism, but an acknowledgement of the parameters of that style. These guys touched my heart.
